Another case would be if the spirit has a special connection with ghost or the Ghost Realm. REMEMBER!! If a Siter has the Energy that doesn't mean it is an evil character! Siters with Energy: 
This Energy is weak to 
Energy ( takes X2 damage ), and Immune to Life-steal Effect. Siters with this energy also get revived with 15% of their HP when they are defeated in battle ( THE REVIVAL DOES NOT APPLY FOR ENEMIES AND BOSSES ).
